Pre-health fair blood draws now being taken PDF Print E-mail

Blood draws started Monday in Imperial in anticipation of the Chase County Community Hospital’s health fair later this month.
Staff from the Chase County Clinic is conducting blood draws at St. Patrick’s parish hall through Thursday this week from 6 to 9 a.m.
Next week, the draws will take place at the hospital, Aug. 20-23, also from 6 to 9 a.m. each day.
In Wauneta, a one-day blood draw is planned at the Wauneta clinic on Thursday. Aug. 16, from 7 to 9 a.m.
Available is a general health profile for $40, a hemoglobin A1C for $10, a vitamin D level test for $40 and for men, the PSA test for $20.
Youths age 18 and younger will receive lab draws at a 15 percent discount.
Results will be available at the hospital health fair on Saturday, Aug. 25, when hospital personnel will meet with individuals to review them.
Appointments are preferred for the blood draws. Call 882-7299 in Imperial or 394-5593 in Wauneta. Insurance forms will not be filed by the hospital/clinics for the blood draws.
