The Chase County 4-H program received a $5,000 donation from Noble Energy this week, which will be used for the 4-H Booster Program. Above, Phillip Logan, center, the company’s production foreman, presents the check to 4-H Council President Kurt Bernhardt and Extension Educator Kimberly Cook on Monday. Cook said the money will be used for extra incentives to 4-H members beyond the ribbon money they receive. It does exclude the market animals sold at the 4-H auction, she noted. (Republican photo)
