Girls planning to compete on the 2012 Longhorn high school softball team will be reporting for a week of conditioning Monday morning.
Coach Denise Smith said conditioning will start at 7 a.m. at the school.
Following the week of conditioning, the team will begin practices on Monday, Aug. 6, at Imperial’s Schroeder field. Nebraska high school softball teams can start a full week early with practice due to the early start to their fall seasons.
Chase County’s first game this fall is Thursday, Aug. 21, when they travel to Southern Valley.
