Luckily for residents of the Imperial area, there are both a nice lake and new swimming pool available in these days of intense summer heat. Temperatures have been setting records since early June and there doesn’t seem to be much relief coming, at least for the rest of this week. Temperatures were predicted to hit 104 on the Fourth of July, with readings the rest of the week in the high 90s and 100.
