Sheyla Christner scored six points Friday night as the West team, led by Coach Roger Lauhead of Wauneta, doubled up the East 70-35 in Cambridge’s CSO girls All-Star game. West MVP went to Hitchcock County’s Laramey Lewis. Lewis scored 14 points in the contest, a total matched by West teammate Morgan Jones from Dundy County-Stratton. Alissa Brooks of Southern Valley scored nine for the East and was named East MVP. The West boys team completed the night’s sweep with a 80-73 win in a competitive and scrappy contest. Chase County’s Adam Moline paced the West team with 13 points. Adam Lawson of Hayes Center added 12 and Gabe Ware of Hitchcock County finished in double figures with 10. Moline was named West MVP. The East team was led by Travis Hodgson of Elwood with 18. Cambridge’s Rayce Dauwen added 17. Hodgson was named East MVP.
