Attorney Philip E. Pierce has opened an office in Imperial. The Ogallala resident, who is also Imperial City Attorney, can be found at 409 Broadway, in the Service Insurance building.
Pierce had been considering the idea of opening an office in Imperial for five to six years, he said.         “I have a lot of clients in Chase County, and it’s a convenience for them,” he added.
The lawyer practices general law, with no criminal defense work. He specializes in real estate, estate planning, probate and civil litigation law.
Pierce has been city attorney for five years. He is also the attorney for Garden County, the city of Sutherland, the city of Grant and the West Central Nebraska Development District.
Prior to obtaining his law degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1993, Pierce was a dairy farmer near Stratton. He has had a practice in Ogallala since 1995.
Pierce will be in Imperial one day a week, to be announced at a later date.
