Chase County ran into a tough McCook team in a dual matchup in Imperial last Thursday.
The Longhorns managed three wins among the nine head-to-head matches that evening. Chase County won another match by forfeit, but had to give up four matches by forfeit, as well.
Coach Matt Vlasin said they knew they would face a good Class B team in the Bison team, but felt, as a whole, his team’s intensity was not there.
He was glad to see vast improvement in that area as the teams competed in tournaments on Friday and Saturday.
Here are results from the dual. The matches last Thursday started at the 171 lb. division.
