By Jan Schultz The Imperial Republican John Burke of Imperial was appointed to the Chase County Community Hospital board of directors at the county commissioners’ Jan. 13 meeting. With Burke’s appointment, the board now is fully represented with five members. Administrator Lola Jones said they’ve been operating short a board member for more than a year. Burke replaces Sue Kinner, who had resigned. The hospital board meets the third Thursday of the month at 9 a.m. in the hospital conference room. Burke will attend his first meeting in February. Other board members include Chairman Bill Bauerle, secretary Bob Mendenhall, Rod Beemer and Sylvia Polly. Board members serve six-year terms. |
