4-H open house for youths, adults
By Kimberly Cook
UNL Extension SW4 Counties
All youth and adults wanting to learn what 4-H is all about are invited to the 4-H Open House to experience 4-H with hands-on fun.
This free event will be held on March 18 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the 4-H Exhibit Hall on the fairgrounds in Imperial. Adults will be at the school to walk youths over to the fairgrounds.
Please call the UNL Extension Office to make arrangements.
Youths will have the opportunity to experience hands-on activities related to 4-H projects. A few of the topics include Digital Photography, Wildlife, Healthy Lifestyles, Field Crops, Design Decisions and more.
Adults who want to learn more about 4-H are encouraged to come, whether it is to get your kids involved in 4-H or just looking for an opportunity to volunteer with a youth organization.
For more information or to arrange for your child to walk with an adult from the school to the fairgrounds call UNL Extension in Chase County at 308-882-4731, or email Kimberly Cook, Extension Educator, at
