Lincoln man jailed in area meth seizure PDF Print E-mail

A traffic stop for a defective headlight and speeding led to the seizure of five pounds of methamphetamine, a .38 caliber handgun and the arrest of a Lincoln man.
Just after 11 p.m., Monday, Nov. 22, a trooper with the Nebraska State Patrol Troop D Headquarters-North Platte stopped an eastbound 1994 Nissan Pathfinder, two miles west of the Brule Interchange on Interstate 80.
The trooper was given consent to search the vehicle. The search led to the seizure of a handgun and five pounds of methamphetamine. The meth and the handgun were found hidden in the rear-quarter panels of the vehicle.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, Pedro Camacho Corona, 60, Lincoln, was lodged in the Keith County Jail on a charge of Possession of a methamphetamine with intent to deliver and possession of a firearm during a drug violation.
