Marc Mroczek, who’s been an English/P.E. teacher and coach for Chase County Schools, was hired Tuesday night as the school’s new Activities Director (A.D.).
He will replace Mark Bottom, who will become a full-time teacher for the 2010-11 school year.
Action on the two positions was approved at Tuesday’s Chase County Schools’ board of education meeting.
Both changes were approved on unanimous 9-0 board votes.
While teacher contracts and 2010-11 class schedules aren’t finalized, Supt. Matt Fisher said  Mroczek will likely continue to teach English at the junior high level, and will also remain as the head boys’ high school track coach.
But, he will be dropping his high school head girls’ basketball and asst. football coaching jobs.
