Engineer to be hired for school track work PDF Print E-mail

An engineer is expected to be chosen soon, possibly by next week, for work on the Chase County Schools’ track.
The school board has been discussing track repairs in recent months, mainly lifting the entire track surface several inches and applying a new latex or poly-urethane finish.
Supt. Matt Fisher has sent letters to several engineers about the school’s potential work. Fisher said he hopes he and the board’s facilities committee can meet next week to make an engineer selection.
