‘Hands-on’ science goal of Edgerton Explorit Center PDF Print E-mail

Three hundred students at Chase County Schools had their hands on science Monday, thanks to a visit from the Edgerton Explorit Center’s and its Science Discovery Day.
Two well-known Edgerton representatives, executive director Ken Schroeder and outreach educator John Thompson, wowed the students and, later that night, their parents and other adults at a family show.
Knowing what kids like, Thompson had fun in the morning’s opening session, creating loud booms, sending ping-pong balls flying and crushing cans with his experiments.
Then, the fun really began.
