Driver’s education class set to begin PDF Print E-mail

A Driver’s Education class for area high school students will be offered at North Platte Community College in spring and summer sessions.  
The classes that will be offered are Department of Motor Vehicles approved and will include 20 hours of classroom instruction and five hours of driving experience. The spring sessions will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 24, and will have ten meetings during February, March, and April.
The classes will be available from 4-6 p.m. or from 6-8 p.m. CT. Summer Driver’s Education classes will also be available in morning sessions starting on June 1.
Students who attend the spring classes will also have driving times scheduled during March and April. All classes will meet at the North Campus.
The registration fee is $235. Class  size is limited. Interested students must pre-register by contacting Tom Gorman, Area Dean of Economic Development and Training, at (308) 535-3714.
