Matthew Sieperda graduates from California sheriff’s department training PDF Print E-mail

Matthew Sieperda was among the class of 21 who graduated Jan. 6 from the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department Regional Training Division in Modesto, Calif.
Sieperda started the 24-week, 960-hour training last July, after completing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in criminal justice from Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. At Dordt, he also earned minors in sociology and political studies.
Sieperda received special recognition at the graduation ceremony as the Top Academic Recruit, signifying he had earned the highest average percentage on all the written tests.
The 2005 Chase County Schools graduate is now applying for law enforcement jobs in California. He will be married in June.
He is the son of John and Annie Sieperda of Wauneta.
