Christmas pies for worthy cause PDF Print E-mail

Elementary Principal Nathan Vitosh got an early Christmas “present” last Friday during a full K-12 assembly in the Longhorn gym. K-6 students won the “food fight” by bringing more food for the pantry than students in grades 7-12. By winning, that meant the K-6 principal would get two pies in the face, thrown by secretaries Kay Dean and Sherri Wheeler. The K-6 students brought 936 lbs. of food, beating the 7-12 tally of 154 lbs. Below, the principals and students are pictured with all the food delivered to the pantry from the “food fight” challenge, standing from left, 7-12 Principal Mike Sorensen, Tyler Talbott, K-6 Principal Vitosh, Makayla DaMoude, Mikayla Hamilton, kneeling from left, Cheyanne Kuhlmann and Lorayna Lovejoy.
