|Bed and Breakfast a hospitable choice|
■ Editor’s note: This is one in a series of features that will spotlight businesses in Imperial. The community has a thriving business community, and all residents may not realize the extent of services and products local businesses provide. This feature will be a regular offering throughout the year and beyond, and will include those businesses with a commercial address located outside of the home.

If you want a great place to stay during your trip to Imperial, the Balcony House Bed and Breakfast will fit the bill.
Proprietors Linda and Jim Pirog have decorated every room to a specific taste. There is the Romantic Retreat, which is the honeymoon suite, the Sunflower Room, the Upland Game Room, the Prairie Lakes room and the Santa Fe suite.
Each room has a shower/tub, and a view of the surrounding area.
Amenities include a full breakfast, a guest kitchen area, a dining area and a television room.
The uniqueness of the place is a “home atmosphere.” “We make you feel at home, with your helping yourself to beverages, snacks and whatever,” Jim said.
“At another hotel, you would pay for these,” he added.
The Balcony House recently upgraded its windows, and has redecorated rooms.
