Food, music popular during Chamber’s Old Fashioned Christmas PDF Print E-mail

A community event isn’t complete without food and music. There was plenty of that and more at last week’s Old Fashioned Christmas Festival sponsored by the Imperial Chamber of Commerce. Many of the businesses in Imperial provided special holiday events, like music at McNair Agency that included Aiden Wilkensen on violin, at left. This year, the soup supper didn’t run out of soup, but there were only two pies left. An estimated 200 people were served the meal with all free will donations given to Adam Spady for medical expenses. Above, the server spills a little as the bowl is passed to a hungry shopper at the VFW Hall. (Republican photos)
