It’s tree pickin’ time PDF Print E-mail

It’s that time of year. December arrived early this week, and that means time to be thinking about holiday decorating. Christmas trees are an important part of the holidays in most homes, and people took advantage of the nice weather earlier this week to shop for that perfect tree. Above, Deb Nordhausen of Wauneta, right, checked out the outdoor display of trees at The Added Touch on Tuesday with daughter Heidi Anderson of Imperial and grandchildren, Karlie, 2 1/2, and Zak, six months old. Holiday Farms has also been busy since they started selling Christmas trees on Saturday. Donna Vlasin noted 32 had already been sold by the close of business Monday from the 75 they ordered in this year. Kevin and Peggy McCormick and children, Kevin, 2 1/2, and seven-month-old Preston, below, make their selection at the Holiday Farms greenhouse. (Republican photos)
