Snow kicks off short work week PDF Print E-mail

It lasted only a few hours, but Monday’s snow covered the cars and ground temporarily in Imperial. Temperatures reached 40 degrees earlier in the day, but dropped mid-day when the snow started. Here, a FedEx delivery man makes his way to his truck at 6th and Broadway Sts., underneath the city’s Christmas decorations and as the snow flies. The holiday lights won’t be turned on until next week after the community celebrates Thanksgiving this Thursday. (Republican photo)
