Traveling bake sale Friday to aid Dona Hayes PDF Print E-mail

Co-workers and friends of Dona Hayes of Imperial are wanting to help her like she has helped many others in the community.
Hayes, who underwent back surgery in September, has had some complications since then. She’s spent at least six weeks in hospitals here and in Denver. During the ordeal, she also acquired the H1N1 flu virus.
To help her with the expenses beyond insurance coverage, her co-workers at Chase County Community Hospital and the Imperial Manor, along with Imperial EMS of which she is a member, are planning a traveling bake sale this Friday, Nov. 6.
The bake sale will start out from the hospital at 8:30 a.m. and then stop at several businesses in the community.
Anyone who would like to contribute goods for the bake sale can bring them to the hospital before 8:30 a.m. Friday. Questions can be directed to Margene Hayes, 882-4923, or Penny Teply, 882-4713.
