A dynamic workshop will be held in Imperial Tuesday, Nov. 10, that is geared to develop the skills of individuals who will be giving presentations.
The SCORE workshop will be a great learning tool for anyone who gives presentations, whether it be for their business (owner or employee), an organization or even teachers, said Leslie Carlholm, the city of Imperial’s Community Development Director.
SCORE stands for Super Closers, Openers, Review techniques and Energizers.
“Anyone who has to get up in front of people and speak” will benefit from the workshop, Carlholm noted.
Site for the Nov. 10 workshop will be the Mid-Plains Community College extended campus in Imperial, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. MT.
Workshop presenter will be Doug McCallum, who has been involved in training/teaching for more than 30 years.
McCallum’s professional career includes sales, public school teaching, industrial consulting, public speaking and counseling. He was also a UN-L professor for eight years.
The workshop is limited to 20 participants, and there are still a few seats open. Cost to attend is $35, which covers training materials and lunch.
