Chase County 4-H volunteer honored PDF Print E-mail

Amy Gittlein of rural Chase County recently received honorable mention as the Nebraska 4-H Volunteer of the Year. She was formally recognized Dec. 8 at the Nebraska Farm Bureau Convention in Kearney. Gittlein has been a dedicated volunteer for seven years in Chase County. She organized the Dreamchasers 4-H Club and encourages her club members to be involved in the community. Her award, which came with a $250 check and plaque, was presented by Kirk Jamison, left, president of the Nebraska 4-H Foundation, and Keith Olsen, president of the Nebraska Farm Bureau, which endowed the awards program.
