Red Ribbon Week starts Monday PDF Print E-mail

Chase County Schools will be participating in Red Ribbon Week October 26-29. The purpose of Red Ribbon Week is to promote safe and drug free lifestyles.
Students at CCS are being encouraged to participate in Red Ribbon Week by observing the following themes each day:  
Monday—Bed Head Day—Wear your bed head to school and “Use Your Head, Don’t Do Drugs.”
Tuesday—Camo Day—Wear camouflage clothing and “Join the Fight Against Drugs.”
Wednesday—Cap Day—Wear a cap and “Put a Cap on Drugs.”
Thursday—Spirit Day—Wear orange and black or Halloween costume and “Show Your School Spirit Drug Free.”
The homeroom class with the highest percentage of students dressed according to each day’s theme will win an ice cream party and silicone Longhorn bracelets.
The school’s FCCLA chapter is organizing the Red Ribbon Week events. FCCLA sponsor is Cathy Hanna.
