    The Chase County Schools November Students of the Month are Nichole Dickey and Scott Lakey. They will be attending an Imperial Rotary Club luncheon.
    Dickey, 17, is on the honor roll and is a member of National Honor Society. She attended Junior Law Cadet school and has been a teachers’ aide.
    The daughter of Angie and Greg Dickey has been a member of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and FFA for one year, Fellowship of Christian Athletes for two years, has participated in speech three years and was on the yearbook committee for one year.
    Dickey has participated in volleyball and basketball for four years, cheerleading for one year, and will complete her fourth year of track this spring. She has been on the student council for four years and has also been a class officer.
    The senior enjoys being with friends, sleeping and watching movies in her free time. She is a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, and works at Pinnacle Bank.
    Dickey plans to attend college, majoring in elementary education and obtaining a Master’s degree in speech pathology.
    Lakey, 17, is the son of Linda and David Lakey. He is on the honor roll, and attended the Chase County Chapter of Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge trip.
    He has participated in FFA for three years and FBLA one year. Lakey will finish his fourth year of golf this spring and played football one year.
    He is the student representative on both the school board and city council.
    Lakey enjoys golf, friends and keeping up with current events in his spare time. He is a member of Zion Lutheran Church and is the LYF president.
    He plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Omaha, majoring in political science and business administration.
