Free youth trap shoot this Sunday PDF Print E-mail

A free youth trap shoot designed to teach rules and etiquette of the sport will be held Sunday, Oct. 4 at the Plainsman Trap Club, south of Imperial, on the Bob Grams farm.
Youths through the 12th grade are invited to take part. The event will start at 1:30 p.m.
Adult coaches will be on hand and free targets will be provided by Rod Fuller Collectible Firearms. The Plainsman Rifle & Pistol Club will give one box of shells per shooter (either 12 or 20 ga.) Additional 12 or 20 ga. shells may be purchased at the club.
Youths should bring their shotguns.
From Imperial, people can get to the site traveling a half mile west of town on the Champion highway, then turn south on the junk yard road traveling 10 1/2 miles.

In case of bad weather, the trap shoot will be held the following Sunday, Oct. 11.
