Bachelor’s degree classes begin at Mid-Plains PDF Print E-mail

An open house will be held Monday at Mid-Plains Community College Imperial Campus for those interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree through Bellevue University.
The open house will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 4:30-6 p.m. at the campus at 1324 Broadway to discuss “Real Learning for Real Life.”
Mid-Plains has partnered with Bellevue University to provide working adults with a way to complete an accelerated bachelor of science degree in class or online. Over 20 career-relevant programs are available.
Classes are offered by Bellevue University beginning at different times throughout the year. A number of classes begin in October.
Behavioral Science will be offered at the North Platte campus beginning Oct. 13. Management will be offered at the McCook campus beginning Oct. 15.
Healthcare Management will be offered in November at the Imperial campus.
A student attending Mid-Plains for an Associates of Arts degree completes 60 hours of course study.  If he or she is planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree, they are encouraged to add another 22 credits from MPCC.
These 82 hours, coupled with the 45 hours in the Bellevue program, will complete the course work necessary to receive a bachelor’s degree from Bellevue.
