Chamber promotes tennis shoe caring tree PDF Print E-mail

One of the projects carried out this month by the Imperial Chamber of Commerce’s promotion committee included a tennis shoe caring tree, seeking donations for the purchase of school tennis shoes for those that may not be able to afford them. Trees were set up at Pinnacle Bank, Adams Bank & Trust, First Bank & Trust, Adams Drug and Alco. A total of 12 pairs of shoes, ranging from size 1-6, were donated and presented to the school last week. The school will be in charge of handing them out for PE classes. Those present included, from left, Chamber member Merrilyn Leibbrandt, elementary principal Nate Vitosh, superintendent Matt Fisher, elementary PE teacher Jodi Schuller and Chamber promotion chair Mary Deyle.
