Boys and girls in grades 3-6 interested in flag football will hold their first practice for the season on Saturday, Sept. 12.
Combined with that first practice will be a meeting for the parents and players that will start the morning  off at 10 a.m. The first day of practice will follow.
Todd Burpo, who coordinates the elementary flag football program, said one big change in the program this year is moving the weekday practices from Wednesday to Monday.
The first Monday practice will be held Sept. 14 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Youths will also practice on Saturdays in September, and begin playing football games on Saturdays in October.
Games will continue until Oct. 31.
Burpo said if youths can’t come the entire hour and a half of practice, they still can come for however long works for them.
The practices and games will be held on the field north of Crossroads Wesleyan Church in Imperial.
Parents with questions can contact Burpo at 882-4677.
