Prestige Worldwide team wins co-ed softball championship PDF Print E-mail

An Imperial team, Prestige Worldwide, won the championship in this summer’s coed softball league, defeating Wauneta’s Good Times in an extra inning championship game last Friday night, 18-17. Prestige went through the tournament held Aug. 3, 6 and 7 without a loss, winning all four of its games. Good Times lost to Fanning’s in its second game of the tournament, but came up through the loser’s bracket to meet Prestige in the finals. Members of the championship team, which earned $100 for their first place finish, above, included, front from left, Morgan Strand, Erica Pirog, Emma Fulton, Tabitha Russell, Ashlie Boman, back from left, Jerel Fortkamp, Carl Zuege, Lance Milner, Zach Krueger, Scott Way and Darrin Schultz.
