The Imperial Republican
Voters in this year's primary election can review the sample ballots in preparation for the May 13 Primary.
The ballots appear inside on page 7 of this week's edition.
The primary includes ballots for the Democratic, Republican, Nebraska and Green Parties, along with a non-partisan ticket.
Democrats held a presidential caucus earlier this year, but the candidates' names will still appear on the ballot.
John McCain has already won the Republican presidential nomination but Ron Paul's name still appears on the ballot.
In addition to president, the Primary will advance candidates for U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives District 3.
On the Republican ticket, voters in County Commissioner District 1 will advance one of five candidates to the General Election in November. However, the winner faces no opposition on the Democratic ticket.
In subdistrict 5 of the Upper Republican Natural Resources District, two of three candidates will advance to the General.
Nebraskans will also vote on a constitutional amendment proposal that would allow certain size cities to invest public endowment funds in the same manner as a prudent investor would.
