Realizing the importance of Senator Mark Christensen's water bill LB 701, Chase County Schools will provide a bus to attend the hearing on the bill Wednesday, Feb. 28.
Superintendent Matt Fisher said the school will offer a bus to take people who want to testify at the hearing or attend in support of the bill.
The bill will be heard that afternoon by the Natural Resources Committee.
Since the hearing is tenatively planned for 1:30 p.m. CT., the bus will leave early that morning to arrive prior to the hearing.
Fisher said the cost for each person riding the bus will be $10 each.
He said they need a minimum of 20 people in order to take a bus and can accommodate up to 40 people.
